This powder contains, fair trade qasil leaf powder which is made from the dried leaves of the gob tree in East Africa & has been used by Somali women for centuries and comes with a rich history. It also has soothing ingredients for sensitive skin such as green tea, rose hip powder, kaolin clay, aloe vera and allantoin.

Our 60ml jar is about 120ml of total product once you add water each use and should last for at least 12-16 masks

Key Ingredients:

Qasil Leaf Powder –

•  It has natural healing properties & is full of antioxidants
•  Has been great for hyperpigmentation
•  Its a great mild physical exfoliator even for sensitive skin
•  As well as a cleanser & exfoliator, it is used as a face & even hair mask

Allantoin –

• Increase skin smoothness
• Aid in wound healing
• Promote cell proliferation and longevity
• The extract of comfrey, a species of herb native to Europe

How to use

As a cleanser –
Scoop a little bit into your hands & add about a teaspoon of water.
Rub it together in your hands for about 5-10 seconds until it starts to turn into a milky cleanser with small gentle exfoliating particles that come from the qasil.
Use as you would a normal cleanser and wash off with luke warm water and a cleansing cloth or flannel

As a mask –
Mix about a teaspoon of powder with the same amount of water (you can add any floral waters & a few drops of any oil you have into the mix) It’s totally customisable to how your skin is feeling that day & your skin type.
Cover your face with a layer of the product, making sure not to get too close to the eyes (best applied with a brush)
Leave it on for about 15mins or until it’s about 60% – 70% dry (it can be hard to remove if you leave it on until its completely dry) & then gently wash it off.

Use once or twice a week (lasts from 12-14 mask applications).

The uses don’t stop there! This can also be used as a clarifying hair mask & if you really love DIY products you can also blend it up with some water in a blender to turn it into a shampoo.

Packaged in an amber glass jar with an aluminium lid & recyclable labels

To reuse or recycle, peel away the label and wash thoroughly inside and out. Leave to dry and fill up with anything from a candle, spices, small plants etc.
