This interpretation of the Fleurs De Mariage batik motif was developed through a 2-stage lino cut as part of the TeeLino 100DayProject. The finished design is coloured with mica powders and finished with a resin gloss.
The popular Fleurs De Mariage / Mgbolodi / Rolls Royce African wax fabric motif symbolizes the beauty of happiness in a marriage and is believed to bring uncountable success and wealth to the fabric owner and their family.

- Polymer clay with reflective mica powder surface colour and resin finish
- Neckpiece length approx. 600mm including 50mm handcrafted wire extender and hook clasp
- Feature tile is approx. 5mm thickness, 60mm x 35mm diameter, flanked by polymer clay spacer beads

About The Maker
After years working in fashion, Thea’s next move was into an entirely unrelated field – but that didn’t feed her creativity the way clothing used to. She’d always been fascinated by costume jewellery, and when she starting experimenting with polymer clay, beads and wires to craft pieces back in 2015, it was enough to revive her love of fashion and creativity.
