Description

This African plant pot holder was handmade in East Sussex with handprinted blue and white African cotton textiles and upcycled hessian coffee sacks.

The delicately designed fabric was handprinted in Gambia by Musa Jeitah, a true cratfman. Musa creates the prints with intricate knots and natural indigoin dye.
He is the only person in his villisge still using natural dyes, which are better for the environment.

The beautiful fabric is combined with up-cycled hessian coffee sacks in my East Sussex studio, creating the perfect eco home accessory.

They can be used as a handy stylish storage basket to brighten up your house plants or stash away that office stationery.

If using as a plant pot holder, place plant in pot with no holes or on a tray to avoid getting the pot holder wet. Please note pot holder is not waterproof.

Care: Recommended to sponge clean and dry flat
