We're closing: Read our final founders' letter

After ten incredible years championing Black British brands, Jamii is closing at the end of this year.

It’s been a phenomenal ride: for a whole decade, we’ve driven sales, visibility and worthy recognition to the best Black-owned brands in the UK. With your support, we have:

    • given brands over £100,000 in grant funding

    • generated over £500,000 in sales

    • supported over 2,500 businesses with growth resources and opportunities.

A massive thank you everyone who backed us on this journey! We hope the legacy of Jamii lives on with you.

What this means for Jamii cardholders

Jamii will close on 31 December 2026, meaning we’ll stop adding new brand and event listings. However, lovejamii.com will still be active until 5 July 2027, and we’ll still make all discounts visible and accessible to cardholders until then.

If you’re a Jamii cardholder, your membership will end for good on the date of your next renewal, after 5 July 2026. In other words, if your next renewal date is any time between 5 July 2026 and 4 July 2027, that will become your last day of membership and you won’t be charged for any subscription renewals or receive a new Jamii card in the post.

You’ll still have access to your discounts listed on lovejamii.com until the date your membership ends.

From 5 July 2026, Jamii membership will no longer be available to buy.

Our email address, [email protected], will stay active until 5 July 2027 for any cardholder queries.
