In November 2022, we announced See It Through: a £20,000 grant fund designed to give four Black-owned businesses a boost during the cost-of-living crisis and coming recession.
The grant came about from research we did that revealed that the majority of Black business owners are concerned about these uncertain financial times – and 66% aren’t sure they have the cash reserves to survive a recession. So, with a £20,000 donation courtesy of Airbnb, we decided to help businesses where we could.
