About The Maker

Dorothy knows her craft. A qualified silversmith, she worked with some of the finest jewellery makers from Ghana and Britain before turning her eye to Ahima. Now, she delicately designs and hand-makes her gold, rose gold and sterling silver jewellery in her North London studio, drawing inspiration from Ghana and the diverse cultures of Africa.

Dorothy’s signature collection blends Ghanaian Adan Adinkra symbols with impeccable accessory design. Uniquely made and individually meaningful, every one of her pieces imbues an affirmation or invitation to mindfulness. Ahima Jewellery is craftsmanship infused with both love and tradition.
