Here Are The Winners Of Our Clear Channel Compass Advertising Competition



We’re excited to announce the winners of our free outdoor advertising competition in collaboration with Clear Channel UK!

Clear Channel Compass is a long-term initiative with Jamii and Clear Channel UK, designed to empower and support independent Black-owned businesses through Out-of-Home advertising.

Returning for a second year, we received over 350 applications this time around – and we’re excited to announce the ten 2023 winners. Congratulations to:

  • Aaron Wallace, the UK’s Leading Black Male Grooming Brand, providing natural, vegan hair, beard and skincare products created for the needs of Black men
  • Capital Waste, sustainable waste management and clearance solutions in and around London.
  • Elliott Footwear, sustainable footwear, with the world’s first ‘Climate Positive’ footwear collection.
  • Impression Beverage/Jamaica Rum Vibes, a unique blend of 100% authentic Jamaican white rum cocktails from some of the island’s best distilleries
  • Little OMO, inclusive educational materials and toys for children that teach them about diverse cultural representation.
  • Pat & Pinky’s, an award-winning brand producing Guyanese hot sauces and condiments.
  • Raise Snacks, natural and nutritious snacks that don’t compromise on taste.
  • Treasure Tress, Europe’s first and largest natural hair product subscription box.
  • Slinger Staff, a staffing platform connects and empowers people in the hospitality industry, from all backgrounds.
  • Sheer Chemistry, skin-colour tights for women of colour, made to match all brown skin tones.

Each of their ad campaigns will run across Clear Channel UK’s Adshel Live screens from May 2023, with all campaigns running within the next 12 months. Catch the launches of each ad on our Instagram page at @ukjamii.
