We’re heading into a challenging time for small businesses as uncertainty grows, jobs are being lost and income is being cut. Within a few short weeks, we’ve gone from business-as-usual to crisis management as we try to work out what this means for us as individuals and as business owners.
As the situation developed, we thought hard about how Jamii might be affected by everything and what we can do to protect ourselves, while continuing to deliver on our mission. We’re determined to see the positives and work out a strategy that will see us continue to break down barriers for the founders we work with and encourage everyone to keep black-owned businesses at the forefront of their minds.
We’re committed to making business knowledge easily accessible to everyone who wants it – which is why all of our entrepreneurial content up to now has been completely free – but we’re also a small business experiencing a tricky time like many of you, which is why we’ve made it an affordable £1.95.
In this workbook:
- Examples of how consumer behaviour will change over the coming weeks and days
- A framework to plan how your small business can flourish in response
- A framework to help you think about how your business can put your core customers at the heart of your plan, meeting them where they are and ensuring you are providing them with value
This is the framework we used to create our own COVID-19 strategy, and how we will continue to measure and iterate it over the coming days and weeks.
If you have any questions or want to talk through your plans & ideas, please drop us an email or send us a DM!
We hope it’s useful to you.
