Description
Have you ever wanted to introduce your culture to your children in a fun and engaging way?
Have you ever wanted to introduce a new culture to your children in an exciting way?
Have you ever wanted to be able to open up conversations on diversity, culture, and heritage with your little ones?
Do you want to find ways to bond with your Littles and watch them excel in completing a task or challenge?
Then this is for you!
Find out about the 3 main cultures in Nigeria – Igbo, Yoruba, and Hausa. What are Chioma and Emeka up to? What are Baba and Mama Femi wearing? Where is Fatima going?
All our puzzle sets come with short stories describing each image represented, using words from the appropriate local language. These are great conversation starters – introducing the concepts of diversity, different cultures / heritage, and celebrating these differences to children. They could also be used to reinforce information already known to them. We encourage you to read the stories aloud and even allow your Littles to imagine their own stories.
Please note: Our Nigeria Puzzle Set has been upgraded to wooden pieces for even more longevity and durability.

About The Maker
Sheni & Teni is a brand creating innovative puzzles that depict traditional scenes from countries in Africa. They are a great learning tool to broaden children’s understanding of cultural diversity, and they are backed by research showing that cultural education fosters creativity and innovation, unlocking vital skills that drive creative industries.
Founder Fola is a mum of two, who went looking for jigsaw puzzles for her oldest son to play with but couldn’t find any with people that looked like him. So, she created Sheni and Teni as a great way for parents to introduce children to cultural diversity in a fun but natural way.
