Social media workshop for small business owners, helping them to better connect with their audience digitally

Social media can be massively impactful for small business owners, enabling you to engage and connect with your target audience. Each platform has its own playbook and can be leveraged to great success when it comes to sales, marketing or even hiring.

Lockdown has taught us how uncertain the world is and how much we rely on the internet, with businesses without a digital audience hit the hardest by the changes.

In this workshop, you will be equipped with all the necessary tips and tricks to help you use your social media effectively and achieve your wider business goals.

The 90-minute session will cover:

1. Social Media Basics

– Why business needs social media and overview of the benefits

– Which social media channels for your niche.

– How social media algorithms work

2. Building a Strategy

– Building your brand and create a plan of action

– Content strategy, creation, hashtags, preparing, optimisation.

– Software to help you manage your social media accounts.

– How to organise and stay consistent with content creation

– Tips and tools to help with content creation

– Defining success

There will also be time for Q&A at the end.

This training has been delivered to 300+ SMEs and will be delivered by Joyann Boyce (aka Joy), a Social Media Consultant and Founder of The Social Detail.
