Introduce us to your business

Give us a background to what you sell. Tell us:

1. What’s your product/service range?
2. Who’s your customer base?
3. How long have you run your business?
4. Do you work alone or employ a team?
5. Is it a side-hustle or a full-time job?
6. Have you ever received business funding before? If so, how did you use it?

Be detailed about how you plan to use the donation

For example, if you’d like it to help with brand awareness and marketing, tell us your plans for a marketing strategy. Include details like:

• Campaign idea(s)
• Campaign aims and how you plan to evaluate its success
• Projected costs
• Expected reach
• How this campaign contributes to your overall business aims

Or, if this donation will help with costs during a period of anticipated low sales, tell us:

• what costs will be covered and over what time period
• what difference this will make to your business

Include numbers if necessary, but no need for anything confidential. We’d like to understand how this money will help offset the impact of the recession in the context of your long-term business goals.
